How long will it takes to get my order?
 

For delivery within Malaysia, it will takes 2-5 business days PLUS order processing time (24-48 business hours). You can expect your order in 3-7 business days.

For International destinations:

  • Standard shipping will takes 7-14 business days (depends on country) PLUS order processing time (24-48 business hours). You can expect your order in 8-16 business days.
  • Express shipping will takes 3-7 business days (depends on country) PLUS order processing time (24-48 business hours). You can expect you order in 4-9 business days.

We are not responsible for delayed delivery due to bad weather conditions, custom clearance issues, remote delivery locations, public strikes, incorrect or incomplete delivery address information, failed delivery attempts by Courier or Postal Agents and etc.

Normally at what time I will expect to receive my package?

Normally, delivery is during office hours, thus, you might want to consider providing a business address as delivery address. However, you are free to put a residential address in the order form, just kindly ensure that someone is present to sign for receipt of your package.

What are the factors that can possibly delay my shipment?
 

Factors that can delay a shipment are:

  1. bad weather conditions (like snow, flooding, thunderstorm)
  2. custom clearance issues (for international shipments)
  3. public strikes
  4. remote delivery locations
  5. incorrect or incomplete delivery address information
  6. failed delivery attempts (no one to receive package at given delivery address)

What if the package could not be delivered?

Courier or Postal Agents will normally try two times to have the package delivered to you. If no one was present to sign for receipt on their first delivery attempt, they will come back and make a second delivery attempt on a different business day. Courier or Postal Agents will normally leave a “Failed Delivery Attempt Notice” in your mailbox each time delivery failed.

What happens after two failed delivery attempts?

Your package will be returned to GIRAFFE if our appointed Courier or Postal Agent failed to deliver your package after two delivery attempts or as the result of incorrect/incomplete address information. Upon receipt of the returned package, a credit equal to the value of the returned shoes (not inclusive of earlier paid shipping fee) is made to your personal account. Place a new order on our website and the credit processes automatically upon order check-out. Shipping fee for the new order will be charged. An administrative fee of MYR90 applies to each refund requests.

Am I insured against loss, theft and damage?

Yes. If we receive a notification from our appointed Courier or Postal Agent that your package was lost, stolen or damaged while in their custody, we will send another package free of any charge and solve the problem internally with the courier agent. This insurance does not apply after the handover of goods from our delivery agent to you.

Do I need to pay any import duties or taxes?
 

If your delivery address is outside Malaysia, you might be subject to payment of import duties or taxes. These duties or taxes are imposed by your local authorities and is beyond our control. Thus, we are not able to take any responsibility in case you receive an invoice from our appointed Courier or Postal Agent requesting you to pay import duties or taxes prior to the release of your package.

GIRAFFE shall not be held liable on the import duties or taxes that might be imposed on your delivery package as well as the non-clearance of package due to your refusal to pay the import duties or taxes imposed.

Can I pay cash on delivery?

We do not offer Cash On Delivery (COD) payment method. Every order needs to be fully paid before it leaves our warehouse.
